About Ninebark

One partner. The tech and the operations.

Most small businesses piece together their technology and their operations as two separate problems — and end up with two or more vendors, two sets of contracts, and nobody who sees the full picture. When something breaks or falls through the cracks, nobody is accountable for the whole thing.

Ninebark LLC exists to eliminate that gap. One firm handles the website, the software, the CRM, the workflow, the administration, and the collections. Not because it's convenient — because a business that works well needs all of those things working together.

Ninebark primarily serves small businesses in their first three years: the ones getting set up right from the beginning. The work also extends to established businesses that have grown disorganized, left money on the table, or realized their systems were never built the right way.

The engagement model is the same in either case. You work with one person. One person understands your business. One person is accountable for the outcome.

The Name

Named for a Missouri native.

Physocarpus opulifolius — the ninebark shrub — grows wild across Missouri. Its defining feature is its bark: it peels back in papery layers, each one revealing fresh, smooth growth underneath. Clusters of white and pale-pink flowers appear in late spring. The shrub is stubborn and hardy, thriving in difficult soils and rocky slopes where other plants slow down.

Ninebark LLC takes its name from this plant — because that's what we do. We help businesses shed what's not working and grow into something stronger.

The Founder

Ninebark was built around one person's unusual range — someone who has spent a career being the person a company calls when something needs to get done that nobody else can figure out.

Tyler Thomas

Founder & Principal, Ninebark LLC

Tyler is not a traditional software developer or consultant. He is a rare generalist — someone who moves comfortably from pen-and-paper processes to full software solutions, and who colleagues consistently describe as someone who can "do whatever you need."

His background spans full-stack web development, custom Shopify and WordPress theme work, Linux systems administration, CRM setup and administration across more than a dozen platforms (including Salesforce, Zoho, Zendesk, Service Autopilot, Jobber, and Copilot), route logistics and scheduling, financial organization for CPA review, legal document filing, technical writing, and collections representation in Missouri courts.

For a global EV infrastructure firm, a remote software deployment program he designed and executed eliminated the need for on-site service calls — saving over $2.3 million in field costs within six months. His collections and court representation work has recovered significant past-due revenue for Missouri clients across multiple cases, without an attorney.

He founded Ninebark to offer small businesses the same breadth — without the overhead of multiple vendors.
